Is it rude to wish house guests would leave after they have stayed with you for over two weeks? Fortunately, you haven't been asked to give them the grand tour of the city, but gee I need some privacy, solitude and quiet. Is this a Six-Oh trait? Have I become a curmudgeon? Anti-social?
No you haven't. As my mother used to say: Houseguests are like fish. After three days, you have to throw them out. Two weeks is ridiculous unless you are sleeping with them.
